This pretty and well composed photo is from Mom Wald's Place who is a Flickr friend. I love the deep brown glaze of the Royal Haeger vase as it contrasts against the pink peony blossom.

Still rolling on with the Orange Crush listing all of the remaining autumnal delights.
Here's a fabulous Claudette Lucite Heart in a great orange pumpkin color. There is a brass chain with a teardrop end. The hook is a replacement in a silvertone. The lucite hearts are linked together with goldtone metal links and is a very sturdy piece, each heart is plated on the back as well as connected by links.
This necklace measures 16 1/2" long not including the teardrop or the hook. Can be worn as a choker but most likely meant to be worn as pictured, in the princess length.

Finally, some real Christmas 'gilt.'
Alfred Phillipe really outdid himself when he designed this beauty.
The red version of this is featured on the cover of Judith Miller's book, "Collecting Costume Jewelry" published in 2003.
It is truly a lovely piece. To see it in person....well, it's breathtaking!
