The Lover, The Dreamer and Me!

When I see this little guy I think of that song that he 'sang' Rainbow Connection.

Do you remember it? Back in the 80's when 'The Muppet Show' was on TV.

I love the line in the song that says, 'someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection....The lover, the dreamer and me.'

Being a very sentimental person songs, sights and smells stir up memories constantly. I just got a case of the warm fuzzies and am basking in it.

I loved posing Kermit for his "DeMille Close-Ups".

I came across him while visiting Palm Desert.

He is an original Fisher Price issue from 1976.

Did you know that Kermit was 'born' in 1955? That would make him two years older than me. There are a few clips of him in black and white on old TV reels.

This year Kermit is being released as a talking frog! Imagine!
