Congratulations to my 500th heart winner RollingHillsVintage on Etsy.Com

Wow, meeting lots of new friends this week while promoting my shop on Etsy.

Congratulations to RollingHillsVintage, a fellow Cali girl for being the winner of the 'be my 500th heart' contest that's going on in the shop right now.  Click on my avatar to the left and be taken directly to my shop for details on how to get 25% off throughout the shop and a free pair of earrings made by me HDRose!  My shop announcement on the first page will give you the link so that you can enter.

Make sure to stop RollingHillsVintage's shop!  She has many beautiful pieces of hand embroidery and vintage finery in her shop as well.

I love promoting vintage and promoting others who love it as well.  After all, vintage today.....tomorrow's antiques!  We are curators of the past and many of us dig and dig for the provenance on the pieces we offer.

We seek to offer you quality vintage goods and finery at reasonable prices while we all have fun doing it.

Have a great weekend everybody.  Here are a few items of interest either already in the shop or soon to be listed.    The large heavy heart casket normally 28.00 is 25% off to contest participants.

This beautiful Sea Holly Brooch is an orphaned piece....I will be adding a new pin back to it.  But isn't the detail on it stunning?  The maker used a diamond cut on all of the goldplated metal.   Figural brooches are one of my favorite collectibles and you will see many added to my different sites over time.  Some are very large like this one......

Below is an example of a triple choker made of satin nugget beads.  Reminds me of the early sixties.....Holly Go Lightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's.    Some of the beads are spattered with gold flecks.  This charmer for the more petite woman is available in my shop currently.

You can also visit me at Flickr www.flickr.com/photos/hdroseimages/
There you'll find some other gilty pleasures and well as recent pictures of wildflowers from my high desert home and pics from my house garden that feature heirloom flowers and vintage artifacts.

Happy weekend,
HDRose
