I'm sure that I'm not doing this exactly right but I am giving it a try. The Apron Queen is spreading her love and silliness by asking us to join her in composing our bucket list. Yes, based on the movie starring Morgan Freeman (any remember Morgan from PBS's 'The Electric Company" show back in the 70's?) somebody besides me has to! oh and Jack Nicholson too. Once you link to the Queen blog you are entered into a great vintage apron giveaway!

Okay, so, here is my bucket list:
Go to Alaska and fly over the glaciers
Go to Hawaii and fly over the volcanoes
Go to Italy off the beaten path, to Sicily where my great grandparents are from
Become a successful business woman
Be well enough to ride on the back of my husbands motorcycle and drive up to the Redwood Forest and Big Sur
Learn to drive a boat
Retire at the beach
Overcome lifelong shyness (yeah, right)
Live long enough to have grand kids and be a kick butt grandma
Lose my middle age spread
Oh and go to Greece and dance like Zorba the Greek and eat lots of Greek food
That's all for now folks.
Til Soon,
Karen
Great list, I want to retire at the beach too!
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I both remember Morgan Freeman on The Electric Company! And, count me in as wanting to retire at the beach.

ReplyDeleteJUst thought I would say Hi Neighbor! I started reading Confessions of an Apron Queen, then went to Cathys site where her trees looked like the desert across from my house and then saw your comment about Palmdale and here I am visiting another local blog. I'm in Lancaster. Stop by for a visit!
ReplyDeleteThe Redwoods and Big Sur...what a great idea! They were in my mind, but I didn't specifically put them on my list.
