Alrighty now, before we go getting all upset about being 'off topic'
realize that a person in pain, besides needing pain medication, needs humor and lots of it to heal.
A dear longtime friend of mine, Carl, send me this link, it's a short film, about a young man and his wife, a gift he gave her, and a subsequent trip to the doghouse.
It ends up being on topic and is just to good not to share.
The trip to said house is a funny one and the short film great way to start a Monday morn with a cup o' joe.
So without further or due here is the link:

BTW, there are a few new items in my shop, budget friendly and in the colors of the season. Even some handmades, for the trees need jewelry too.
Another gilty pleasure of many of mine: rearranging the ornies when no one else is around, after all even if you don't have OCD you do have good taste, which is everything right? bah-humbug.
What is your gilty pleasure? what is your best Doghouse story? C'mom you know you want to tell us, you can change the names to protect the guilty.
Must have to do with jewelry, vanity, furniture, gilt, ormolu, gems, thrifty treasures, the holidays, gifts froms husbands or boyfriends.
DesertRose understands from her MD that she will take awhile to mend.....please contribute generously to the humor pool and make a new friend while you are at it.
A very Happy Chanukkah for those of you who celebrate the Festival of Lights. At our house we celebrate both and always have. When my husband and I married, he being Jewish was rich in culture, I being Christian was rich in a faith that had it's roots in Judaism.
We decided that even though it was a bit of work and conscientious effort to make it meaningful, and aside from the fun, food, games, family times, and presents; our kids deserved to draw nourishment as people from all of the roots of their heritages.
It was never a problem for us. I will not go into the details of our private religious beliefs (interesting as they may be) in this forum as I feel it would be taking advantage of your expectation as to why you came here to read in the first place.
As Christmas and Chanukkah fall very near one another this year it is a wonderful exclamation point to nearly 30 years of marriage that it always has been fun and rich in the ways that make memories that last a lifetime.
Thank you my love for all of your help and support all of these years. Now that the nest is empty, we still will kindle the lights on sunset the 21st, and leave cookies and milk on the 24th.
No dog house for you baby.
Yours,
Rose
